All Things Sport...

All Things Sport...

There are many threads dedicated to sharing experiences - good times and not so good - so I thought I would start a thread for those on here who love their sport. For me - and I suspect for some others - sport is a good distraction as it often blocks out the more negative emotions and helps to avoid triggers that many other things in 'life' so often seem to do.

This thread can also be a place where like-minded (and not so like-minded people @utopia @Former-Member @Zoe7 lol) can 'discuss/debate' their respective competitions in their preferred sport(s).

For those that are definitely NOT into sport @Phoenix_Rising for example - avoid this thread at all costs - whoops just tagged you in..........hahaha!!!!!

Ok @Zoe7 I must have misunderstood that announcement which I did see.

I thought it was only people all ready on newstart but as I said I am not very brainy when it comes to that stuff lol.

Well hopefully it won't come to that for me.

Thanks for that @Zoe7

Hi @Zoe7 @Scarecrowe @Former-Member

I have been doing my best to tune out today from all.of this. For the most part it work but I am now much like you three - concerned.

It's just progressively getting worse and worse it seems.

We each have our opinions on what can be done better. But i think the reality is that schools may close.

Nsw is going to shut non essentials. I work in an essential department. So my work may be different but it looks like it'll still be going ahead.

Hopefully a cure for the virus is found soon

Hey @Scarecrowe I know we do not have any sport on to converse about but I super miss you. Hope you are okay Hon and can check in - even a quick hi - very soon. This little flutterby does not feel complete without her Scarecrow around and Tobes and Cat are missing their auntie 😘

Re: All Things Sport...

Hiya @Zoe7

Sorry I have not been on much lately. I am just very mentally and physically fatigued. Work has been super busy not only with customers but with all the extra cleaning and social distancing we have to implement. If we are working in an aisle and a customer comes up alongside us to shop we have to leave the aisle and wait for the customer to leave. So jobs are taking extra long to finish which does not please the bosses to much. But we get told by the bosses that we have to do it which is fair enough it is the law. But don't have a go at us for being slower at our work. And being Easter it has been busy with people getting their eggs. Also you constantly have to remind customers to stand behind lines and stand on the markings on floors, they just don't get it. Some get angry at you and think it is all a waste of time etc. And we have to constanly clean trolleys and baskets and checkouts etc. So I have been coming home and eating and going to bed. Hardly been on the computer at all.

So in a nutshell I am fine just very tired. And not up for conversation much. Which is a bit rude of me but when I get this tired I don't feel like talking much. One good thing about living alone, when I get home I know that I don't have to have a conversation with someone lol.

Anyway I hope you and Toby and Cat are doing well. I am have not forgotten you at all. Hope you are all being safe and not getting to bored in isolation.

Not enjoying no sport that is for sure. My mum lent me a box set of dvds of 25 AFL grand finals so I will put them on from time to time to give me at least some sport happening lol.

Did not mean to make you worry. Rather remiss of me not to check in. I do apologise for that. I will try not to be too distant in the future.

Big hugs to you and Toby and Cat.
