@Rosepetal96 im REDLINEZ750 just want say hi and i suffered an invisible injury thats left me with zero work capacity for 3 years two of which i spent in isolation wondering why i couldnt do what i used to without fear and trauma responses caused by sensory overloads.

prior to the injury i was not a person that gave two rats about anything and walked straight lines through crowded public plcaes, now i cant walk through the doors of a shopping centre without risk of flight mode kicking in involuntarily which short story means wheni dont feel safe i l seek safety and consequences are not thought of in its pursuit.

it caused me to detach emotionally only way i kn ew how growing up weeks later was in full relapse 6 months later im in residential rehab and i miss being fearless more than you would believe and the crazy thing is im not afraid of being hurt im afraid of hurting others when im in that flight mode but fear is still fear and yeah i miss having control of myself i miss my oldself only im finding a new self and i apologise if your not a person of faith but for me personally believing its all gods plan helps me find a purpose in it all.

i dont think there is just self and its not so much self we lose from injuries so much as capabilitities and thats what me miss and the resistance to accept them capabilities are no longer as they once were it blocks the growth of new capabilities we never knew were in our arsenal all along..

not knowing what your injury is and knowing its your business if nothing i said has helped or resonated in any way please know i mean well and can also sometimes i just talk too much ask anyone aye

😲I didn't know anyone used super glue for their mow hawk!! @REDLINEZ750 I really can't say anything as I had wax put in my hair to create dreadlocks in the 80's. lol Getting it all out was memorable. The only thing that worked was straight acetone. Took more than half my hair out! I even tried degreaser! ha ha

Sounds like you really enjoyed the speed, adrenalin, pulling those corners. I remember from a time many moons ago when I used to be a pillion passenger. Now it scares the life out of me! 😁

@Bunniekins Change of plans. My sister has been living with my mum since July 2022 and a lot of the time she has borrowed money off our mum or just used her debit card number (not always with her permission) to purchase stuff for herself. She is my mum's official carer, but she hardly cooks for her and most of the time orders Uber and put it on mum's debit card. And poor mum can't always afford these expenses and has had her house insurance cancelled because it is always being rejected because of insufficient funds.

So, I have been keeping track of what expenses are from my sister, so when she receives a payout from her previous relationship, she can pay mum back. The documents go before the court on Monday, so I thought I better update the spreadsheet that I have going to show all of my sister's expenses. She thinks she hardly owes anything. Well, I have a big shock for her. Uber alone is over $20,500 and then she started using Door Dash. Mum said why should she pay for it, because she is too lazy to cook. I can see some uncomfortable times ahead once we work out exactly what she owes. So that is what I am doing today and probably tomorrow. The last time I updated the spreadsheet was in September, so I need to get it up to date as soon as possible if her payment is going to settle soon. Once the judge accepts the settlement agreement, her ex has 30 days to pay it.

So that is my exciting job for today.

But I do enjoy using spreadsheets. You should see the one I have created for my coins. Lol

@Mustang67 o0o0o0ooo your sister has been a lil bit naughty hasnt she..... lucky your mum has you to get things back in order. i love figures too. nothing more satisfying than balancing the books. my ex loves spreadsheets too!

@Bunniekins no wonder we get on so well. I used to be a legal bookkeeper. I love nothing more than reconciling anything that needs reconciling. And if I was one cent out, I would hunt that bugger down until I found it. My bosses use to say just do an adjustment. But I can't do that, I HAVE to find it. Lol

I think I should have become an auditor, and I love to hunt things down if they don't balance.

@Mustang67 there is nothing more satisfying than going through a invoice which has been sent to you (happened to me just recently) which looks dodgy and finding where the mistake is and pointing it out and getting it readjusted. maybe i am weird lol.

@Bunniekins I am the same. I love double checking the amounts on invoices and making sure the GST is the correct amount etc. Even though these days it is automated, so it should be correct. But you never know. When doing the petty cash, I used to love it when I would pick up something that had been charged GST, where in fact it was a GST item. I used to do accounts payable, receivable (which I hated, as I hate asking people for money), payroll and was in charge of the trust account.

Just recently I saw a mistake on a coin website with the dimension that they listed for a particular coin, so I emailed them to let them know of their error and sent a screen shot of the Royal Australian Mint dimensions. I didn't get a response back, but I felt better. Lol

If I see an error in a website, I will often contact them to let them know.
