I like your obscure music, @Bunniekins @REDLINEZ750 @TAB songs that aren't mainstream but for me, there's nothing like a song that I know and can sing along to! Over the last six months I've put some of the songs you've posted on my playlist and they're pretty good! 💜

@Mustang67, this is definitely true! I am trying to embrace the new me, as tricky as that is! I'm sort of caught between, feel a little stuck, but with some hard work I am certain things will begin to shift back into place.....

@Rosepetal96 It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of conflicting feelings right now, with you feeling stuck and like you are caught between something. I assure you that feeling stuck is a common part of navigating mental health challenges or transitions and I have faith, that you have the strength to do what is needed to get to where you want to be.
And we will be here right behind you all of the way.

Re: A song that describes your current emotional state TW
@Rosepetal96 I have spent the last 4 years or so, hardly able to walk or go shopping or anywhere really, as I can not stand in the one spot for longer than 90 seconds without my lower back going into spasms. So, standing at the checkout is impossible for me, unless I am going straight through. And I can't walk for longer than a couple of minutes without my back doing the same.
Because of my depression I have spent so much time in bed, that my muscles have started to waste away, which is what is causing the spasms in my lower back. When I stand, my legs will start to shake and if I try to grab on to something to support myself, then my arms will shake too.
I found a place called [edited my moderator] that has unique testing equipment which provides an objective measure of your deep spinal muscles and from that they can design a strengthening and rehabilitation program which is supplemented with additional strengthening exercise to take these results into account.
This is going to take a lot of effort on my behalf as I think they want you to attend three times a week. I really want to do this, as my back has affected my quality of life, as well as the time that I spend with my daughter when I see her. I can't take her anywhere, that involves me getting out of the car to walk. And I know she would love to do more with me. So, I promised her that I will do this, so we can do a lot more together.
The only thing I am scared about is having a depressive episode and taking to my bed and not getting back out. Hopefully my partner will help and nicely encourage me to continue with the training if that happens.
