Hi @Mustang67, for me right now it's Djo's "end of beginning", it resonates with me because it makes me reflect on who I was before the injury, during the injury, and who I am now living through the recovery phase, which might I add is a whole physical, mental healing, as I'm not really "normal " again, but becoming some sort of "new" me ..and I guess I am shedding residual parts of the old me... ✨️

@Rosepetal96 I don't think we truly go back to the person we were before. As we learn from what has happened and that changes us.

Before my partner died, I used to be bubbly, very social and outgoing and here I am 23 years later, and I still have not got my bubbliness back and I am definite and not that social anymore, and I hardly go out. That is not all because of his death, but other events that came after.

But I am learning so much in my journey, that I don't want to go back to how I used to be. I want to be a strong and confident person, who is not going to let anyone walk over me again.

So, embrace your change and see it as a positive rather than trying to be who you were before.

@heartathome just my natural hair colour with a tonne of hairspray hahaha, never went as far as superglue like the uk and yeah done both knees over the speedskating era and hip copped a fair beating but lovedx the cornering and power of it i just always had a thing for acceleration i guess
