There was a girl in church youth group who loved Hot August Night and Irish music. I knew nothing about either at the time. lol. Did not crave it. Did not have a clue! Am loving the organ sound as I type and listen to your link. 50 years later, another friend and fan talked me into going to the recent movie of 2 copy artists. So I included Song Sung Blue in our singing group rep. Such a blast from the past. Thanks Bellissima! Has me reflecting on my seriousness as a teen and for most of my life. My mother would not allow anything like it. Mostly I tried to oblige, but fun lovingness, cheekiness or the slightest bit of mischieviousness did not happen. I am not sure mother meant to squash it all. I guess life can begin after 60. lol Learning to laugh a lot recently. Hugs. It up to the beats and the claps now. lol
