Oh that sounds horrible @Taali when we are so confused about our own situation as teenagers then our loved ones often become our enemies and we treat them like third rate citizens.

i understand fully that must be hard to look back at for you now with them gone. However for you to see you have been wrong, and how it would have been better if it had not been that way is good. That is the learning bit you NEEDED to do, but to carry heavy guilt and keep it against yourself is not wise my dear.

Guilt is great at showing us wrong, but guilty feelings pestering for the rest of our life for wrong committed is not. And does no longer serve for good, for guilt has already been acknowledged.

i have had to deal with your situation. i carried guilt for past mistakes i would NEVER consider doing again. Yet i reckon guilt has done its work when that is the case, for you know it was wrong, and i know i will never again do that, which is what guilt is all about as far as i'm concerned.

So please my dear consider for your own health of mind, each time you feel guilty tell yourself you are glad you can see you done it wrong in the past, and then to forgive yourself consciously and graciously for that past until guilty feelings have past. It will serve you far better than holding on to that horrible guilty verdict for the person you truthfully no longer are.
