years ago i used to see Chinese doctor who did acupuncture to treat my back pain. But once while i my neck and shoulders were like a pin cushion sitting a chair with him putting in another needle but he accidental did a wrong spot and i fainted the moment and found myself on the floor. with some of the needles doing injury falling on them. Poor doctor almost lost his command of English apologising. The treatments had been helping but i did go not back the fright.

Does it work for you? Have you ever had them put a small current on them? i had that done as well, strange sensation acupuncture like that.

It works for me and she uses the electrical current.

She often has to turn it up to the maximum limit for me to start feeling it.

We're trying the option of leaving the needles in for a few hours so that I get the maximum benefit.

Neck pain is reduced and hoping to get some rest tonight.

Funnily I got dressed and had to defrock for further application.

She also always asks to see my tongue 👅 which apparently tells her something about my treatment

I don't really mind as long as I'm pain free and get some sleep...

With you all the way, pain gone and sleep are both as important as the other. Glad it is working for you. Is the acupuncture also focussed on sleep? For that is sure a poorly serviced area in my life. Not for lack of searching for aids to help me. But when my mind gets going even sleepers that would knock an elephant out have me still running around without even noticing them. Crappy.

Yep, same here regarding sleep

I'm totally unaffected by the myriad of medications I've been on even when combining them all.

It seems that when I was self-medicating(mostly with my)I was getting to sleep but it wasn't peaceful and if truth be known it was actually passing out rather than going to sleep.

Yes she does focus on sleep in her acupuncture treatment as well as my diet and regular cbd.

I wish you all the very best because I definitely know how debilitating sleep deprivation can be especially for those of us who are in constant battle with our many demons 😈

For some reason it brought my mum to mind. Maybe because I always wished she'd been free of the burden of bringing up 7 kids with a husband who had to work 2 sometimes 3 jobs to feed us all.

I have memories of Mum and Dad going without meat so we had a bit.

I carry guilt with me at all times for being so ungrateful. I was a horrible teenager I mean really horrible for which I'll never forgive myself.

I never told them that I was sorry 😞

I also have guilt about not getting to my mother when she was on her death bed

I was in an alcohol induced stupor in Melbourne and didn't get to see her 😢
