Afternoon @Shaz51 . How’s your flu? I’m tired only 4 hours sleep. Early bed for me tonight seemsvto suit me.

Ooh @Shaz51 I have failed to have a coffee today, despite going out twice. Once to vestibular physio for my vertigo and then to play a couple of hours of table tennis.

I wish I could get more into knitting @Judi9877 but have only done a few small projects and lately just knitting dog blankets. I also want to learn crotcheting and I wish I could sew. So many things I wish I'd learnt when younger.

Anyhow I also hope to watch the Jimmy Barnes thing and then to bed as I have to get up early as I'm on the breakfast shift at the soup kitchen type place where I volunteer

another very hot day here today

got annoying waves of nausea , feeling yuk in the stomach and nodding off here and there

need some milk at the shop and the chemist -- going to walk down if i can

Are you far from the shops?

Hopefully you can get down there before it is ridiculously hot.

Hot here today and tomorrow and then possibly some rain later in week. I really hope so as garden really needs it.

Sorry you feel so yuck @Shaz51 . I got my reshelving of photocopies and my notes done.

Also put music books (guitar and charango) put away.

Plus my doctorate and some dissertations by my former students reshelved. Jigsaw puzzles too. Finished.

Only thing left to do is scrape paint drips off sheet. Washed sheet but didn’t come off.

Had to scrub a paint drip off armchair this morning. And scrape drips off wooden floor. Floor was easy, chair was harder.

Ate lunch leftovers yay. Had a cuppa and did dishes. Probably just have sandwiches for dinner.

Here’s hoping you can go for a walk and feel better soon.

History @rav3n . The Cuban Revolution. Published a book with one of my examiners on that history topic. [edited by moderator] We’re still friends almost 35 years later. Worked in a Politics Dept. at a uni.

Sleep was very broken last night and I napped for an hour at 10am. Then put stuff back on shelf in 2nd bedroom. Had too much coffee today and got the runs. Self-inflicted.

@Shaz51 where abouts are you located? I thought you were in Perth for some reason.

It's dropped down to 30 for today, still too warm for my menopausal hot flushing body though.

Sorry you're still feeling horrid, I am praying that both you and Mr Shaz heal quickly. Being sick in the heat is just wretched.
