@GezzaP That image was a little about the dark side of politics, a dark very sarcastic dig really. Not that i think you would have been upset but it was not at all suitable to be on SANE, just didn't think about that at the time i posted it.

yep, there’s cronyism everywhere.

I don’t hate politics per se, more I wanted to understand it. I learned enough to keep a healthy distance from realpolitik which I see as essentially dirty. However, recently went to an old girlfriend birthday party, overly political, with 3 local politicians, who I actually knew. One is more right than my friend but very Christian so she ticked that box and was invited.

We don’t need to go down the narrow minded path.

@GezzaP My father and I were close to indigenous people, way back, and issues and standard of living, eg sleeping under same roof.
