Hi @Judi9877 just saw your update - had been wondering how things were going with your housing and housemate situation.

Sounds like the VCAT member agrees that the property manager is on dodgy legal claims; if they get too annoyed with the property manager's spurious legal claims without evidence, that might add to their likelihood of ruling in your favour and possibly dismissing future ones too.

I'm really glad you have a good plan with regard to starting to move "phase 1" things into the storage unit, and then "phase 2" things into the uni accommodation. Do I recall your plan was to be moved into uni accommodation a few days before christmas? (assuming no requirement from VCAT to do so earlier, but from what you said it sounds unlikely that would happen). That's coming soon eh! I can't believe it is 2 weeks today until xmas. 😳

Cruise sounds great!! I doubt there would be any difficulty finding a second person to take the extra bed in the cruise - who knows, in nearly 2 years time you may even have another friend who would like to go if your housemate doesn't. 😊 Balcony room sounds lovely.

Lovely that you are able to get reimbursed for your break away stay, eases financial pressures with the move also I hope. Especially when the accommodation wasn't quite to expected standards - that is always disappointing.
