I know its getting late on the east coast, but seeing if anyone is up for a chat?
Didn't really want to gate-crash people's existing chat threads.
Nothing specific. Just feeling lonely after feeling a few blows today. Just one of those days to roll with the punches until you can progress the issue at hand.
Its ok if no one is up for a chat. Thats the nature of a forum. But I wont know if I dont ask.

@heartathome i was thinking bout taking it out tonight. rarely take it out when it can be recognised .
i like heading out 1.30amish its a double edged sword as roads are clear and climates nice but its so obvious the bikes up to no good from miles away and hard to sell it wasnt me when its heard cpming
when i come back in i shut it down up on side of mountain and roll to maintain anonimity 😁
always ride alone and like to do a loop type journey so never go same road twice in one ride.

@Till23 No. Thankfully, I'm not in a city. I don't cope too well there. Too busy, too many people, too much happening! The whole north coast is a really beautiful area but can get really busy in the holiday times. Do you live in a city? I used to love the city life in my 20's but in my 60's I just want peace and quiet. I'm a social person with social anxiety! 😄 I bluff my way through life. 😉 How long have you been on SANE for? I've only been on for a few weeks. I don't go to any of the other forums yet. I like the people here and I feel seen, heard and safe! 🙃

A night ride sounds nice @REDLINEZ750 . And makes sense to call it a naked bike if it doesnt have as much of the body plastic -- less to damage/scratch too!
I won't comment on what you get up to on your rides that you need to remain anonymous?! Lol.

I have family on mid north coast @heartathome so am aware of the area.
I used to live in Sydney for quite a while and then I have lived in London and Melbourne as far as cities go. I've also lived in riverina and in the outback in NSW. Now I'm on the coast a few hours north of Sydney. In Sydney I was on the real outskirts and in London and Melbourne also on outskirts.
I have never liked cities, too crowded, noisy, polluted - OK for short stints.
I also like peace and quiet - it has been good that I'm near a big town because I have had cancer twice sine 2022, both needed since of daily treatment for a while.
I'm also in my 60s.
I have been on forums since mid 2023, but only for a very short stint, then off until 2025. So, mainly since early 2025 when I retired. I am only on SANE.
