Up for a chat?

Up for a chat?

I know its getting late on the east coast, but seeing if anyone is up for a chat?

Didn't really want to gate-crash people's existing chat threads.

Nothing specific. Just feeling lonely after feeling a few blows today. Just one of those days to roll with the punches until you can progress the issue at hand.

Its ok if no one is up for a chat. Thats the nature of a forum. But I wont know if I dont ask.

@REDLINEZ750 That's a really good point about the pillion passenger having control of the bike. You're right! 🙃

@AlwaysMyself Riding on the back with not knowing the rider would scare me. Did you have to go far? I used to love the curves in the road, leaning right over with the rider. Amazing experience. Now a memory from my past. 🙃

It wasnt too far when I was with a stranger and a hiking pack, thankfully @heartathome . It was probably a 5-10min ride, but I think it felt like ages because of the fear of falling backwards lol

Hi @heartathome sounds like I was up your way just recently when I had a sport thing on Gold Coast and then went around the Tweed River near Murwillumbah for a bit.

Hi @Shaz51 and @AlwaysMyself and other people I have not met yet who are on this thread.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

I have a cold currently so just a boring day - had a bowl of cereal at 2pm type day as I am very tired.

Re: Up for a chat?

Hi @Till23 I was just wondering where everyone was. I'm glad you're on! I hope you can kick the cold quick! I think cereal is such a comfort food. I don't know why but some cornflakes or a bowl of porridge in the middle of the night was always comforting when I couldn't sleep. How did the sport thing go on the Gold Coast? Sounds like a nice trip! Did you enjoy the area? 🙃

Re: Up for a chat?

Hi @heartathome - yes I am hoping to get rid of cold ASAP (colds seem to be worse as you get older, I think).

I love having porridge in winter. I've never had either in the middle of the night, unless I've been on night shift (and it's "my" breakfast)

Sport thing was very good.

I am not a fan of cities, so wasn't that thrilled with Gold Coast, but loved the hinterland. I was thinking when I can get more confidence I might get myself some kind of caravan or something for one peson and do some travelling to lovely spots.

Are you in a big town, or more off the beaten track?
