So, I have been yappin' away with my fellow peer support workers about how many amazing shifts, changes, and adaptations you have all been making throughout your mental health journeys, and we thought it would be wonderful to create a space where you can Celebrate Each Other's Wins! 🥳

This can look like acknowledging someone's courage when reaching out, a challenge they have overcome, a creative project they have completed, or even a thank you for the ways that they have supported you on the forums.

Essentially, if you see someone do something that makes you smile - share it! 🤩

Of course, you're more than welcome to let us know if you don't want to participate, as we understand that some people like to celebrate more privately. As always, this is a choose-your-own-adventure activity. ✨

Hello forumites! What a great thread to celebrate forum members achievements.

I’d like to give a call out and well done to :

@BipolarRich for enjoying their job as a crossing supervisor and keeping the young kids nice and safe. Well done!

@Cuddlebear for asking for help as that’s a brave and courageous effort. Well done.

@Shaz51 for being such a kind and caring forum member and helping to keep the forums running, especially on the weekends. Well done!

To all other forum members who participate in the forums and share their own stories and experiences, a big well done.

Finally I’d like to celebrate myself in that I’m learning more about myself and how resilient I now am in my role as a carer, despite having my own mental health issues. This has been despite wanting to break down and give up so many times, as I’ve been caring for a person who is very manipulative as part of their own mental health issues. I’ve been in contact with a great carer peer worker and he told me some of my strengths today which I haven’t been able to see in myself. I’m hoping this will be able to benefit me as I begin my new uni studies in social work next year.

I have been showing up even though I am a screaming mess inside. I also arranged for a replacement on Sunday so that I could turn inwards and look after myself and see my commitments will be met.
