Hey @FearofUnknown

My main hobbies are garden and music. Maybe one day I will do art stuff again….bit shy about it….

Re: Hobbies

I'm shy when it comes to Art, especially drawing unless it is Still Life drawing. I wish I could integrate it into my life but can't due to high expectations from myself and others.

Art can be messy too which makes it impractical to do whenever, wherever.

Do you play an instrument @Appleblossom ?

Re: Hobbies

Do they give you enough paint in those Paint by Number kits? I have a fear of it running out before it's completed so I've never tried to buy those kits even though I want to try them.

Did you have leftover paint @Former-Member ?

Re: Hobbies

Yes, I have been very active in music, choral, piano, drumming and recorder.

Being shy about making art sums up me too @FearofUnknown

high expectations can be very difficult

Are there any activities you feel more comfortable with?

Re: Hobbies

just reread your opening post

you mentioned heaps of things

@FearofUnknown

i also do journaling but haven’t for ages… have decided to do more next year

I am also careful about cost. It needs to be a good investment for me to splurge

Re: Hobbies

@FearofUnknown I honestly can’t remember if I had enough paint.

I had a couple brand new kits which went MIA when I moved couple years ago. Between arthritis flare ups, which impacted my hands, and feeling disheartened I haven’t done anything with only kit I now have.

my concerns with the kit I have is that the paints will have dried up and not be able to be used.

@FearofUnknown @Appleblossom @Ainjoule @Lapis_Anteater

Ive recently bought couple books online which are colour by number with a twist.

colours have already been decided and each page consists of small numbered squares, hexagons etc
Colouring in each page the pictures start to appear.

a type of colour by number I’ve never done before

No luck in finding the finished paint by number as yet.

im excited by what I did find. 3 paint by number onto fabric kits that I thought I’d lost during my move. 🥳🥳

Oh I love this thread @FearofUnknown so cool to see how many different things our members get up to!!

@Appleblossom @Former-Member @AnnoyedSheDevil @Ainjoule

I am also a huge D&D nerd, as @Ainjoule knows!! I love photography, nature walks and animal-spotting, occasionally tending to my succulent collection, video games, board games, and itty bitty craft projects from time to time, mostly miscellaneous in nature hehe. Like I found out my ceiling is magnetic so I wanna make a bunch of lil magnets to decorate!
