Re: Hobbies

Hi @FearofUnknown . Welcome to the forums. Nice to meet you! I read that you have several hobbies in common with myself which is great to know.

To help with my mental health issues and recovery/healing, my hobbies are:

- Knitting : beanies, jumpers, blankets for charity and myself

- Crochet

- Cross stitching

- Diamond painting - a new hobby I’ve just recently started to help with my mental health recovery

- Music - listening on my iPhone

- Drawing abstract designs

- Sport - AFL (Brisbane Lions), NRL (Melbourne Storm), tennis, cricket, swimming,

- TV

There’s a craft page called Craft Central that you might like to check out here on the forums where forum members post and discuss craft things.

Take care.

Hey @FearofUnknown

I play computer games, play D&D and do art of a Sunday....I'm a terrible artist but I have a good time. Like you, I also listen to music.

Re: Hobbies

@FearofUnknown

I have several hobbies that I cycle through depending how I'm feeling at the time:

  • Reading, mostly fiction
  • Crochet, I'm self taught
  • Listening to music
  • Movies and shows, mostly on Netflix
  • Walking, it helps get out excess energy and is good for fitness

I've dabbled it various art, but don't really feel I have much talent in it. But as long as something brings you joy and relaxation, who cares?

This is a Lamb hat that I made for a gift, I'm thinking of starting a business eventually.

Re: Hobbies

I would love to see your completed Paint by Numbers @Former-Member ! Art definitely is a harder hobby to keep up with, at least for me it is. Do you paint often?

Re: Hobbies

That hat looks amazing for a self-taught crochet-er like you! Would definitely make a good Etsy product too! Good luck with your business @AnnoyedSheDevil . Win-win when your hobby can bring in money.

@FearofUnknown

I’ve only done 1 paint by number which features wolves. Isn’t framed. Will need to see if I can find it.

Im recently been able to go back to knitting and crocheting. Wanting to finish started knitting, crotcheting before starting something new.
