I've not been given a warning but have had posts unsent with a notifications that I've used a word that may trigger people.

eg. I used the b word when referring to constant television versions. But I've used the f word for emphasis and not been notified or asked to amend the text...

I've also been told that certain details are identifying by the moderator and yet I have been more precise at other times.

I think that it often depends on who is moderating at any given moment.

I absolutely understand the need for a duty of care, but wonder what the heck is wrong with some words and identifying descriptors.

Well I guess we should be appreciative of the SANE team for giving us the opportunity of using the forums to give and receive support from our peers.

So.. I’m not really feeling it today so I have called in sick for work. While I wait for my parents to come and go from my house I had to get out.

I also discovered that the river was close by when I went for a walk. It was really calming listening to the river trickle through.

Captain, I love the place you chose to get out to it looks really lovely! The grass is so green! I wonder what kind of birds you can hear or see, or if you don’t know what they are that’s okay, maybe you can see their colours ☺️

@Dimity calls it my bird mysteries when I don’t know what bird I have seen ☺️😅 and I have another one today, I love trying to figure out and ID them hehe.

this is a male and female fig bird, saw them today. The male is the brightly coloured one 😊. everyone else may be sick of my fig birds now but I still really like them lol.

There is cockatoos, Willy wag tails. A rainbow lorikeet flew past my head and just then my favourite bird just flew past, 2 eastern rosellas. They were to high in the tree to get a photo.

It’s just so nice sitting here. I can safely go home now as my parents won’t be there but I’m still here just listening to the birds.

I might go for a walk later around the wetlands and hope there is no snakes. I’ll see how I feel later but right now I’m just at peace.

Hey there @Captain24 😊, love your pic! I just edited my last msg to ya with a pic of some fig birds I saw this morning ☺️. I love cockatoos I talk to them sometimes and then sometimes they put their crest up which is always cute- they are probably wondering what I’m on about 🙊.

oh and eastern rosellas! Very cool, I have never seen them in person but what beautiful birds. Awesome colours!! The wetlands later sound lovely aswell you’ll have to let me know if you take a look around there, I’d be interested to see what you may see, love a little adventure 😊

I am so glad you found a lovely spot and found peace out there, nature is definitely my happy place, it’s where I find my peace too. Very regulating for me. Definitely connect with what that feels like to listen to the birds and just be 💛

I haven’t heard or seen those bird before @Chasingsunsets I love the male. What beautiful colours.

The people next door to me when I was growing up had a cockatoo. We use to talk to him all the time. They are everywhere around here.

We had an eastern rosella growing up and he talked. He was so cute. I don’t have a really good photo of him but the one I have I’m going to order in a diamond art. I already have a rosella and another one to do that has rosella in it. But this one will be my rosella!

I might take a stroll through there this afternoon. I won’t have to watch my dogs as they are at mums house. So I can walk freely.

I’ll go for a walk through one of our parks next week and take some photos for you. It’s really pretty and it seems like every tourist that comes town goes there and says how wonderful it is.

Nature is hard with snakes. They will start soon and there will be daily posts in the Facebook group of my estate of snake sightings.

I didn’t realise how much I just like sitting here. My nature is the beach but that’s 4 hours away. I find peace there but now I have found peace just around the corner.

I don’t venture out of my thread much other than to post photos of my diamond art.

They are nice photos which is why I thought I would share them. It’s hard to get good photos as all it is is gum trees.

I’ve just realised that I have been sitting here for 2 hours! I’ll definitely come back here. I’m going to add it to my safety plan.
