@SaltwaterSoul it is a 2 hour round trip from where I am now located. I do have other beaches about 25 minutes away, but they don't have the awesome view.

I am sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment. Can you talk to your mum regarding your concerns with your younger brother.

And it definitely sucks when your new medication kills your motivation. I have the same issue. I was put on a new medication and I felt the best I had ever felt since my partner died 23 years ago. Then all of a sudden my mood changed and I felt numb and so sad all the time. I queried it with the pharmacist and I was told that they discontinued my medication, so they swapped me to a generic brand. I told the pharmacist how I was feeling, so he swapped me to a different generic brand. While I feel better than I did on the previous medication, I often feel numb, I also have no motivation and I am definitely not feeling happy or in a good place. I was seeing my doctor to get my medication changed again, but with all my accommodation issues, that sort of took over and I didn't follow up with the medication change. But just yesterday was thinking of starting to get the ball rolling again.

How long have you been on this new medication for?

My highlight today, was I finally starting doing some colouring in that I have been saying for a while that I want to do. So I actually got out of bed and sat at the table to colour in.

I am so sorry that things with your mum have been hard @PeppyPatti... sometimes our chosen family are the people who feel the most like home. 💛

What kind of therapist would you like next?

@MissGremlin Thank you for your support. I am a little proud of myself too. Hopefully while I am at my mum's I can start a new routine to my day, instead of lying in bed for most of my day.

I even ordered a diamond dot picture today which is 30cm x 30cm, so I should have enough room on the caravan table to start doing it.

yeah um ……. I wrote and said iv been uncomfortable with her for a couple of years um …… because I came to that realisation I really dislike my Mum.
think it’s called transference or projective identification I forgot. I’m reading a psychotherapy book so will remind myself.
oh the days I would pick up a book and look very clever reading these cracking books in Psychotherapy……

the more my life is about halting the horrible hypersensitive panic stricken self of trauma and learn to relax - I feel the ……. Um not very clever state wash over moi ………….

@PeppyPatti I have never watched MAFS. I tend to stay away from shows like that, as they always seem to have some sort on conflict or argument and I don't enjoy watching other people gossip or fight.

Naughty memories of your past....... I have a few of those myself, but they were exciting at the time and it is something to remember in my old age. Lol

So the medication which is to stop your tummy growing gall bladder balls without a gall bladder — WOW I have never heard of that. It is as painful as gallstones when they develop?
