not sure if your pol sci course had a different structure to mine. I really appreciated the broad scope and theoretical basis of our courses, but they rejigged the uni, sacked heaps of academics, closed heaps of departments and reduced the arts faculty to a smidgin of courses, all under the umbrella of Culture and Communication. It could be good, but I am not so sure. I have a decades long relationship with my first uni. Daughter on a fancy board there atm, but not so convinced about the marketing of unis anymore.

My highlight today is that maybe my car will get fixed in time not to put upcoming plans out of whack. I had put off fixing something, but its getting to the point of possibly being a danger, if parts fall off while I am whizzing along on the freeway. Hope its not too expensive. Practical stuff matters...

It's black tea, but there's something somewhat comforting about it, takes me back to times when I didn't have the cares or anxiety that I have now 😅 returning to work I'm starting to think is seriously derailing me. I want to be confident in what I am doing again, but it is hard 😩🙈

For me, it has to be snorkelling or diving! I’d absolutely love to see some turtles out there again. A manta ray would be amazing too- I haven’t seen one while snorkelling or diving yet! Dolphins would also be so cool… I just love how peaceful snorkelling can be 🤿

I have watery memories with my 2 brothers... they never lived together, but this is a funny way I can bring us together.

One was a little competitive about swimming etc, but showed me his love of dog paddling under water, whilst looking at the way the sun's rays were refracted... he pointed out a glimmer....

The other, came to many beach holidays with me after adulthood, and we did snorkelling etc etc ... (he was totally raised by foster parents from 6 months).

They both died young, but different causes and life styles. Should write a book...lol

speaking of the beach, my family too my bunny to the beach this month. he had a fun time trying to dig burrows in the sand 😊
