What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

@Chasingsunsets it was incredible! I actually have my own turkish tea pots and tea glasses as well, I've made it a new routine to make turkish tea every night and share some biscuits with my partner 🥰

 This is now a new part of my "mental health care routine" , you could say that's how "I fill my (tea) cup"

Thank you @tyme ! I am slowly turning a corner I hope🤞🤞🤞🤞, on some new medication and off some others making me feel not so great! Adjusted some current doses, continuing self care routines and reducing my work hours for a bit.

I do love a good pun!

It's so beautiful! It reminds me of when I used to dance

When my foot heals again (whenever that may be) I'd like to do occasional tap classes!

My highlight today was going into university to get some issues figured out. I got my math units approved and I dropped some units so I could just start part time. I plan to study full time from next year. I also applied for scholarships. I feel like I have walked backwards and forwards around the whole campus 3 times but that will be good for my step count lol. I am just having to wait till 3:30pm to get my student card sorted out.

That sounds soooo exciting @Oaktree !!!! Woohoo!
