What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

ikr it's been a while!! @Chasingsunsets life's been busy but it's hit a nice and steady pace at the moment which i'm so grateful for. i'm starting a new course soon (for anonymity purposes i can't share the course name unfortunately) but i'm both excited and nervous to start!!

we're planning on taking my bunny to the beach again soon - we've taken him once before but he didn't seem to like it (he just stayed in his liter box)... but now we think that the weather might've been too hot for him so we'll take him on 25-27 degree days instead.

HOW HAVE YOU BEENNNN!? how's Indi?? i had a banana up&go this morning and thought of you and @AlwaysMyself 😋

@Chasingsunsets I think so... just seeing how everything has changed and I feel out of place..

I cannot really describe the reason why I feel this way, I just know that I do. It's like I'm mourning the loss of the opportunity I had, and it's like I've accepted it but at the same time, feel like I don't fit into the jigsaw puzzle.. I thought cutting down my workload would help but my mind keeps throwing this self doubt at me.

ever since iv moved out of home iv always needed to live by the beach or big parks. However I didn’t grow up in a boat. Actually weirdly iv always wanted to live by the beach it might be the smell.
weirdly my horoscope says i am most comfortable living next to water or nature ?

We just saw fish @Chasingsunsets north side of the harbour in Sydney. He did a lot of diving with oxygen tank, travelling to exotic places, and took a photo of himself and his daughter in a shark cage. I had a rich brother and a poor brother. Another reason why I am pretty detached from financial stuff. We just need enough, not really more.

@Oaktree What kind of science subjects? I never regret my study, but I am getting picky in my old age, as I am not mad about endless HECS debts, and we have the internet.

I had a great chat with my physio about Roger Penrose and physics.

@Chasingsunsets @Appleblossom @PeppyPatti @Rosepetal96 @Oaktree hey Chasingsunsets and everyone the highlight of my day was sitting down with my daughter and having wholesome bolognaise linner. it was made by my wonderful support worker. i hope everyone has a wonderful linner or dinner this weekend with someone close to them. if you are alone there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself with some scrummy food too. love to you all. bun xxx

Memories of beach... being biten by sand flies severely 😬.

I dont like the beach lol. Too much sand and wetness. 😅

I like sand castles though. So maybe i can just have buckets of wet sand to "craft" sandcastles with instead?
