Omg @Rosepetal96 I love food. I don’t know where to begin. When I was a little girl I used to sneak out of my bed and keeping the kitchen light off and cut up the horrible apples 🍎 🍏 mum used to buy us for snacks,ide sneak into the ‘special grown up section of the fridge where all food for adults were every night ide pour cream on top of it and eat it. Ide always have a book to read. Iv noticed when iv been very ill, i automatically go to the cleaners pre cut up fruit section and eat days of that with cream.

Just reading your post @PeppyPatti to @Rosepetal96 about food. I found myself craving something to eat so had a mango yoghurt. Not nearly as satisfying as chocolate!! My mother was a terrible cook (sorry mum) so I wouldn't be going back to our fridge for seconds! 😄

my mother turning 83 and desperate to show her significance in her life - all the neighbours have knitted toys for grandchildren and friends and my brother’s children : food is in there too. I’m too lazy to seen as important : so husband cooks.

Baked beans and capsicum? I've never seen that one before. My partner (who doesn't live with me) does all the cooking too, @PeppyPatti He enjoys it, so it's no big deal. I hate cooking and am unmotivated to learn! We were never allowed in the kitchen as kids, unless doing chores. I get a variety of meals every week from Meals on Wheels. I'll eat whatever's put in front of me Peppy... even kale! 😉I do like a spaghetti bolognaise though. A peanut satay chicken or a Pad Thai...now they're coming. Don't get me started on sweet things... 😄💚

I still have one cinnamon scroll left, might eat that if the craving emerges 😋😋

@PeppyPatti that sounds so good! I can just imagine you reading away whilst enjoying your sneaky midnight feast.Cream always pairs so well with fruits sometimes its cream and fruits and not fruits and cream 😅.

Now I feel like scones and jam and

cream, that thick dollop one too 😋

I really enjoy food too, and nowadays that I have begun to restablish a routine I also have begun to enjoy cooking food too, something cathartic about it, taking my time to ensure I haven't missed parts of the recipe, enjoying the finished product and sharing it with my partner or family.

I think I might bake some scones this weekend if it's not too hot, would be a good morning tea for work 🤔

Omg I so love love lasagne. My past is making my style of lasagne ….mmmmmm……
