yes I have to live with my husband. But …….. we both have a one bedroom unit each. …..of our own. This may be changing shortly.

in the last few weeks, my husband and I have argued broken up and gotten back together x1.
I have had many urging to pick my very cool guitar and start practicing but that has sunk into obscurity because of laziness

iv been warned someone is going to purchase me a house but a unit for me because of my personal past bad luck when has sent me into an emotional spin. But because iv not heard from legal channels I’m doubting myself and for it going through.

Hi @PeppyPatti , I reckon there are some big advantages of living separate (but close by) to a partner -- always have your "safe place" and quiet down-time place, plus if they are too messy or too clean you can just stay at your own place without fights. 😋. But then can still spend as much time and meals together as you wish, and can still stay overnight if you both wish to. Best of both worlds, except for the financial aspect.

I don't fully understand what you mean about not having two separate units soon, and that maybe someone is buying you a house? Would the house mean that the two of you would then have to both live in the house together, rather than separate?

I find the "limbo" of uncertainty stressful. How do you feel with this big "unknown" of whether or not it will happen? When do you expect it to happen, if they do?

to have my own place Having my own 'Fortress' where I can do my needlepoint and be with my dog, Peanut, is non-negotiable for my recovery.

i think would really help my recovery.

My other side of my family in Dads side are very wealthy. And one of family members living in Boston, is purchasing a unit here in Perth in her name for me to live in.

As for the 'Limbo' and the 'Unknown':

• The Stress: You’re right, the limbo is heavy. I’ve been waiting 9 months .
I’m currently 'at my most ill,' and waiting for the paperwork to go through. Iv packed my Resume packed in a case by the door. and passports.

Even if the call doesn't come today, I know the future is real because the paperwork is in motion.

if it all messes up I’ll be reflective and still happy 😊
