I have a ba in visual arts and I studied psychotherapy for many years - I was pretty stigmatised in class for quite a few years : doesn’t matter : I guess I passed but never wanted to be a councillor : just got me through my sons cancer …..

my oldest son has a philosophy degree. I can see in that respect how completely awesome it would be.

ide LOVE to study philosophy ; I just don’t have the energy atm.

I never have a highlight. My life is pretty dull and boring. It gets hard to see anything good in the day. But today I do have a pretty big highlight.

My dad is in his 70’s and today is quite warm. At 10am it was 35 degrees. I thought that it was too hot for dad to mow his lawn so I went around and did it for them. So not only did I get to enjoy the sun and the heat I did something really nice for my parents. The yard was so overgrown that it was hard work but I feel good. I feel proud.

So that’s my highlight. Being helpful for someone.

@Cuddlebear thank you. The last two weeks I haven't been in as many with my surgery come up etc. So not much has come my way. I suppose I can't be lucky all the time. Lol

What do you want for yourself @Blackcloud ?

If you want voluntary work for experience or purpose find what does suit you I don't remember ever being fulfilled or happy from working to meet others standards or expectations yet plenty of memories where I have started at bottom and been in charge doing. What I wanted.

Sounds like environment had toxicity in the end if they turned it into making decisions for you before seeking resolve or asking what you needed.

my 🐕 dog is being cute. He cost me $300 yesterday : his energy levels were nothing. I got all paranoid because I thought he was poisoned —-

he just wanted to just hang back for a day ..,,,

I love nature. But then I gotta come inside and not the cleanest person here.
