@Chasingsunsets The photo of your frog guests just loaded and they look so happy and snuggly! Yes all the different frogs croaking together is truly like a beautiful song. I’m really lucky to live near wetlands. I see a lot of animals including many different parrot specifies, owls, some kangaroos too but not many kangaroos. There’s sooo many bird specifies! Oooh and ducks! The cutest ducks ever! There are also snakes but I don’t see them which is good lol as they are quite deadly the ones in the wetlands.

There’s a bird hide too where you can sit quietly and watch nature. The bird hide has equipment to magnify and is in a building so the animals are not disturbed.

I could maybe get a cat someday but dunno what I'd do about having someone look after it if I go away anywhere. At the moment I have a little palm potplant and some other plant thing that do ok if I'm away for 2 weeks. I tried leaving them with my neighbour one time when I was away for longer but she decided to stop watering one of them and it took ages to recover. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

@RebelliousAngel Hello how are you? Sounds like you’ve had a bit to do this morning. I love birthday parties! You’ll have fun and it’s a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday. Is it a friends birthday?

I am at home and just checking posts on forums. I’ve been unwell but a friend has dropped in to provide some company and support. I’m so grateful for their love it’s so very kind of them. I’m hoping my friend and I can go for a walk later today at local park. Get me out of the house a little.

I love frogs too 🙂 They’re so cute but also so very clever and their little croaks sound beautiful!

@Cuddlebear it has been a busy morning. Yes it's a friends birthday party and a bunch of 8-9 year old kids, absolute chaos 🤣. I know it'll be very overwhelming so I'm trying to prepare myself for it and make sure i can have a bit of quiet time in between it all. I will have support with me so that should help to ease a bit of the anxiety 🙂. Then tomorrow is another party to go to, it's all systems go here this weekend 🙂.

Yes it’s really good my friend is over. They are going to stay a few days as I’ve been struggling badly and they kindly offered to come and provide company and help me care for myself. 🙂

It’s a warm day in Victoria where I am. There’s a nice breeze though. It’s not super hot or anything so good weather to take a walk. I just live a few minutes walk to local park so if it rains not far to get back home.

i've been mainly depressed, with much faster cycling highly emotional times in between. Nevertheless the horrible trauma emotions are heading the right way.

For instead of suppressing them, as i did for so long, i'm learning to heed myself, within myself, during such moments, and stop blaming myself for what others did to me. And so the intensity of my trauma recall is gradually lessening, as i slowly let the pain be released where i had locked myself up for so long, festering hurt.

Luckily my mood has remained rather lowish throughout, but not too low. For in this way my mind does not run off on crisis time, as has happened so often before. For in time past, when such such emotional times came knocking on my door, i would simply go psychotic, not able to stop raging my pain, yet always making things so much worse doing that.

@DownMoreThanUp Hello 🙂 What’s your week / day been like? Anything on this weekend?

I am glad that the trauma emotions are heading in the right way for you. You have such good insight into how you are feeling / thinking. Learning to not blame ourselves is really important isn't it. I’m trying to do that too and in my experience it isn’t easily done and takes practice. This is something I’ll work on more once I’m out of this really intense period and more stable.

I like that you’ve been able to avoid a hugely depressive episode and the tools you are using are helping not spiral right down. Are there particular things that are working for you?

BTW Ren is literally my favourite artist. Really awesome to meet someone who loves his musical / lyrical genius.
