The cob loaf recipe is really nice. My problem is that I can't stop at just a little bit!

I love sourdough too, my brother works in a non profit run low cost supermarket which gives bread out for free and quite often there is sourdough available. I love it toasted with vegemite. Yes now I'm getting hungry!!

Not sure of my highlight today - perhaps that it was productive and i got done things i wantee/needed to. Yesterday my highlight was a friend coming over for dinner. 😊

On my walk this evening a pelican flew past! Just the one. Don’t see them that often here. I also was lucky enough to see 3 osprey! 💜

How’s the weekend going?

My highlight today has to be maintaining the plants around my frog hotel 🪴🌱and best of all to see who had chosen to check in for the weekend or a long stay 😂🐸🐸

Frogs are one of my favourite animals since childhood so I do love some choose to live near me 🙏, breeding season is in a couple of months time! Where the males loudly croak away and I hope some tadpoles!

Here is a few in one of the pipes of the hotel! I count 5 here in this pipe that I can see, 9 residents in total today.

Would love from hear from everyone ☺️! I might be offline for most of the rest of the day. But might be able to briefly checkin throughout today hopefully 🙏

@Chasingsunsets Hello friend. How are you? I just love that you have a frog hotel. What an awesome gift to frogs nearby. I love frogs too and I really like the sounds they make as well. I live not too far away from wetlands where there’s lots of frogs. I can’t see them but with my hearing aids on I can hear them if I’m at the wetlands early morning or sunset time.

Was it hard to build a frog hotel? I just love the sanctuary you’ve built for them.

Hi @Cuddlebear lovely to hear from you!! Wow lucky you living near some wetlands, all the different frogs croaking away is a lovely sound isn’t it! Do you get to see any other wildlife at the wetlands?
Nah it’s wasn’t hard at all, just some polly pipe in a pot with rocks to hold them in and some plants 😀. I fill the pot with water use to have a water pump for a fountain going but I need to fix that.
