What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Cool @AlwaysMyself

I like weak coffee too !!

I guess my highlight was that I went for a walk with my dad when the weather was getting colder and it helped me warm up.

In terms of things I saw today, earlier in the day we went to a place that was looking after a snake (some kind of python) and a bearded dragon so they were in separate tanks.

Hi @TheVorticon !! Nice to see you here, welcome!! I love your highlights! I love a good walk!

Awesome to hear about the snake and the bearded dragon you saw, that wouldn’t have been cool! 🐍🦎

Do you have any pets ?

Hope you have a good night, I’m off to bed now. Night all 🙏

Thanks @Chasingsunsets .

Yeah when I was a kid we had water dragons in the yard which are slightly different but I've always liked those sorts of bigger lizards. Not a big fan of wild snakes but chilling in a tank is fine haha.

Unfortunately I don't have any pets. I'd be concerned that my work life and apartment wouldn't be good for a pet so it wouldn't be fair on them.

Do you have any?

Afternoon @TheVorticon, that’s cool about the water dragons! I’m also not a fan of snakes or big spiders lol!!

When I was house sitting years ago a big lizard was near the pool and I was trying to shepard it away as I was cleaning the pool with the pool skimmer, next thing it did a U bolt and jumped straight into the pool and dived down! I didn’t know at the time they are great swimmers 😂 loving animals I jumped in after it fully clothed to rescue it 😂😂😂

Thanks for your message it brought back a funny memory haha.

I see re pets! Ah maybe one day when the time is right for you? How about any plants?🪴

I have a dog! She’s awesome, she’s getting older now! Nine 😯

Hope you are having a good day 🙏

I’ve almost finished cleaning out my junk cupboard! Onto the last shelf now yippee….its been overwhelming but nearly thrown it all out into recycling and shreds!!

@AlwaysMyself giving away your paintings is a lovely idea. I had never thought of that. I need to keep mine so I don't go and buy the same one again lol! I went through a stage where I bought dozens and dozens of diamond paintings, I figure if I reach 100 I might get to finish them 🤣🤣

@Chasingsunsets I've done a cheese and bacon cob loaf and ex friend made a French onion, cheese and bacon one. Both are delicious.

Many years ago while I was in the US I had a sour dough cob loaf with chicken Caesar salad in it from Boudin Bakery on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. It was the best sour dough I've ever had and I loved the idea that I could eat the container!

This is the recipe I use -

@PeppyPatti my precious Pepster. I want to give you squishy hugs and share a pack of choc bickies. with you

I think I am just surviving, not thriving. However,

my highlight today - I paid off my mortgage. My house is now 100% mine. Now it's time to start working on the repairs.

omg your nearest starbucks is so farrrrr!! but so true about their free wifi, i tend to chill there just to take advantage of it 😋 @AlwaysMyself
