It is cold here today in Adelaide and the wind is really cold. Planned to garden but too cold for me. I have retreated inside and put the heater on.

Had a good session with psychologist this morning - was all about my toxic relationship with my sister who is not talking to me and has said she is cutting me out of her life. I’m both sad and angry.

I don’t swim very often @Mustang67 . When I was a student I worked on a research project on shark attacks! And my father was stung by a sting ray - his leg was paralysed for hours.

I like to walk on the path above the beach. I used to walk for an hour and a half. But at the moment my back aches after a little while.
Retreated inside with heater on as it is cold today. Was hoping to garden but there’s a nasty cold wing out there.

It’s chilly side today in Melbourne and we’ve had rain. I think we will have more rain and strong winds later. Sounds like Adelaide is similar.

Im glad you had a good session with your psychologist today. I’m sorry your sister has said those things to you. I can understand feeling both sad and angry at the same time. Perhaps it’s a situation that can be mended with some time? I just want you to know you are worthy of love.

@TAB I paid $124,000 in 1998 for a two bedroom unit. The place next door which is the same as mine but was not as well maintained sold about 2 years ago for $500,000. There is a big garden. I get help with the heavy work that I’m not strong enough to do anymore. Should lift weights and go back to exercising but at the moment with my sore back I can only manage physio exercises.

Oh I lived in Plympton for a little while.

My sister is very pig headed @Cuddlebear . And it’s quite likely that she will never talk to me again. She did that to our parents. Oh well she has always bullied me and tried to control my life so perhaps it is better without her, but I miss her and at times we got on really well. Basically I don’t know what to do, but I will leave her alone for a good while and then decide whether to reach out or not.

It was wet this morning and it’s cold. I’m hiding inside with the heater on.

in my travels was checking into a camp in Karratha when woman asked if I was from nz.had happened a few times around then,so I asked her why. She was put on the spot and best she could come up with was I was polite.. funny cos she was maori/islander.

um I usedto live in Hill st for years. people often asked me to repeat it as I had made it into 2 syllables..Off the top of my head, what is called SA accent is less broad. I worked near Newcastle once and people sounded like Paul Hogan lol @AlwaysMyself
