What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

@StuF could you do my ironing while you are at it? 🙂 fitness trainer is good and she is very friendly. i was a bit ratty this morning so wasnt very sociable 😞 . feeling better now though 🙂 .

@Bunniekins I usually only watch ABC or SBS as commercial channels are crap in my opinion. Only ever watch sport on commercial channels if not on kayo.

@GezzaP yes i love abc's british crime shows eg: vera midsomer murders. forgot about sbs will check if something is on tonight.

Hi @Shaz51 love your teapots. Soooo cute 😍

My morning was so topsy turvy and I also felt completely out of sorts. I had planned to go to do a few things and then a bit of a drive in the hills. After my car wouldnt start and waiting for the RAA I nearly went home. Decided to still go for drive after car was back on the road and it was lovely. Also visited various op shops and got some summer clothes💃

I'd love to be able to take it from him @REDLINEZ750 . It breaks my heart. 💔 I go from giving it to God to taking it back again and again many times a day.

Thank you for saying it's not complaining. It's hard for me to know where to post a rant. I posted one in the Let's Chat thread but didn't tag anyone. I just needed to get it off my chest. I really like the Christian thread but don't like to put a damper on someone's day there. It's especially hard when I know my SANE friends in there are struggling too. I'm just feeling for others atm.

Ha ha ha. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about gaming consoles anymore. I remember getting an old computer, Xbox and later a play station for my son. It's expensive stuff! He still games today. I listened to the beat music that you put up the other day. I actually didn't mind it. 🙂

I'm listening to meditation music at the moment. It's a bit slow! 😄 I'm not really into it but it'll be okay over the lamb roast I'm having. There'll be moon and stars popping up soon. 🌔✨
