How are you? What has been your highlight today? ✨

Popping in to say 'hi' and sending care to those who have had a rough day or two (sounds like quite a few of you). Hope tomorrow brings a slightly better day.

Today was a manageable day. That's a highlight. It was productive.

Sorry, my brain is a little too tired to be able to think what else to say. But I'm still here, and catching up on readings most days even if I don't post. 😊

I am so jealous you can buy op shops outfits and go to op shops. My therapist and I have often moaned that we can’t shop in an op shop.

Oh yes, I went for a walk after dinner and I am already showered and relaxing.

Op shopping can be fun but frustrating too! I look at all the teeny tiny cool clothes and I have to be lucky to find interesting clothes as a size 16 but I persist and I usually do.

Why cant you go op shopping?

Hi @AuntGlow lovely to reconnect! Not sure if you are in forum land still tonight 😊🙏

My highlight today has to be getting a coffee frappe to fuel some productivity 😊 and if indi could tell us her highlight I am sure it would be that she got a slice of bacon from the drive through haha. She isn’t a dog that drawls or has a lot of saliva but bring out the bacon from the drive though and she needs a bid while she eats it lol 😂

Also! I received my new gym runners in the post so that was exciting! New brand and style I haven’t had before, what my PT recommended, I then just took a risk in ordering them online (normally not how I operate but it was free returns so that felt safe enough 😂😂)

I already had a new pair of runners but she said the style makes you unsteady when doing weights as designed for running and walking so these are super flat (but could feel what she was saying re the rock lol). So excited to wear them in, then wear them to the next training session!

Aww @REDLINEZ750, that’s so kind of you to rescue the poor bird!! Generally with wildlife it’s catch, heal and release for them, who knows you may have seen the one you rescued flying above 😁

Hey @heartathome, I walk with my dog ☺️🐶 we generally walk between an hour or two. I really enjoy my walks!! Try to find some different or interesting each walk!

Aw you are two kind rescuing birds. They are so pretty aren’t they. Very fragile though hey. They don’t have good odds when they get injured hey.
One of my highlights was rescuing a baby possum, I saw mum had passed away and went and got her to check the pouch. Sure enough she had a little one in the pouch still alive, they are properly attached to mums teat and you don’t pull them off so mum came too. The little one went off to the wildlife carer, a girl and she made it to release 💛

I have not voted in the bird competition but I will have to check it out!! Thanks for that!!

Haha thanks @rav3n! The bird wasn’t anything to special re colours or numbers of the species (I’d say there is a lot of them around) but very cool markings I think- I love the white strip at the back of there heads! Unique right haha. Also I hadn’t personally seen one of them before so that was cool!!

I had an ok run with my car and then recently the one engine coil stopped working boy was that interesting 😂 was driving to the mechanics not knowing what the malfunction was and thought I was going to break down at any second lol. Then the other three malfunctioned 2 weeks later, least I knew what they were and just got a mobile mechanic to replace them. But yes that was an experience 🤭.

@Chasingsunsets I am in a couple of groups where they will sell say a certain amount of numbers at a particular value and the members of the group, purchase the numbers. Once all the numbers have been purchased, all there names go onto a spinning wheel or some type of race, and basically if your number comes up, you win that coin. There are a few variations as to how they decide the winner, but it is all a bit of fun, with a chance to picking up a coin pretty cheaply. I usually only support the people that use this system to raise money for charity or to help people in need.

I purchased 4 spots on this wheel at the cost of $28 in total.

The Minted Bar was made in 2024.
