Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

I just went to the local for lunch so I could walk cause I missed out on my walk earlier. @creative_writer Nearly got rained on. Just went out for an hour. Didn’t see anyone I know today. Put a couple of indoor pklants out in the rain. Should put rest out but feeling lazy now.

I hope you are safe. Maybe the med change will work.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP do you have plans on celebrating your birthday with friends?

I'm safe, but I am really struggling. I'm doing better than before, I know I can keep myself safe, but it feels heavy.

Re: Feeling caged up

Nothing special just a few drinks @creative_writer . But I got out of the house for 4 hours so that was good. I enjoyed myself.

Hi @GezzaP how are you doing today?

Re: Feeling caged up

I slept 9 1/2 hours last night @AuntGlow @creative_writer . One hour in arm chair trying to stay up to watch women’s footy woke up near the end lol. Then slept 8 1/2 hours in bed. Has been ages since slept so late.

Did my washing at 10am after my solar panels start generating some power to save money. Barely used any heating this morning. Power is so expensive in SA. I’m getting new solar panels and a battery. Had to withdraw super to pay for it, but I’m hoping for no more power bills.

@GezzaP sounds like sleep is getting better. I slept poorly again last night, I am hoping the mood stabilises soon, I feel rather restless. I am keeping meds as the dose my pdoc suggested.

Breathing air is $5, everything has become so expensive. I hope it helps with the cost of power bills.

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I am a bit restless too, but that’s because I’m anxious and worried about trivial and more important things as per usual for me. Sorry to hear you didn’t sleep well.

I’ve just put the cricket on to distract me a bit, but carefully watching clouds coming in so I can rescue my washing if we get a shower. There’s a breeze so that will help dry my thicker clothes, but may still need to hang up inside. My cat pulls my clothes off my airer lol. They forecast rain today but there was only a little bit early this morning. Sunny until now.

I’m hoping to get credit on my power bills when I get the battery so that it’s worth the investment.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I've had a lot playing on my mind. I have a bad migraine and yet I am not resting. I am going out this evening too, it'll be fun trying to deal with the sensory stuff.

Cats will do what they want to do. They have their own minds. I'm sure you get lots of cat fur over your clothes.

Solar can help in the long run, but it is so expensive to set up
