Something’s not right

Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

@AuntGlow I’m not sure. I’m going to go to bed soon, too sleepy to think, I’ve taken my night meds

Sleep sounds really helpful right now, actually. @creative_writer

I hope you get some rest - let's chat more tomorrow. 💛

Re: Feeling caged up

I doubt you are better off broken @creative_writer . Yes I’m awake early slept for 5 hours but very deeply. I’ chrcking emails and Facebook. Will do Spanish lessons and physio exercised. Then I have to move some furniture for painting. When it gets light I will clean kitty litter and uneaten cat food. Then I’ll go for a walk before gardening.

Re: Feeling caged up

@AuntGlow I managed to sleep okay. Still too scared to talk about it, fear of being judged is just too high. I hope you are doing well💖

@GezzaP I hope today has been kind to you 💖

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I’ve had a nice day. Walked to shop but a neighbour gave me a ride half wsy - was grateful because it wss very cold. He was going to work. After s very slow start I sowed some native seeds - 4 pots. Then got a whole bunch of new seeds in the post. Picked up a cactus from nearby only $6. Came home, took my shoes off and spent the afternoon reading gardening magazine and dozing. Just had roastie toastie cheese as shepherd’s pie ran out at lunch time. Will make silverbeet and feta filo tomorrow morning. Then sow some of the new seeds.

What about you? How was your day? Did you do your workout?

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP sounds like a good and productive day. We had a cool morning here.

I did my morning workout, had a dietician appointment, took a shower and washed and hung clothes.

Still feeling low, but it seems to linger

Re: Feeling caged up

Sounds like you got quite a few things done too. @creative_writer

Sorry you are still feeling low. I feel ok still a bit hypomanic though.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I feel wiped out. Have too much on my mind.

Do you have much planned for the evening?

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer Just watching news and 7.30 Report then I’ll go to bed maybe read for a little while. Or just curl up to try to sleep in warm bed. How about you?

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP nothing much, just winding down right now. Will pray. I will eat something in a bit and take meds. I also do my skincare as part of my nighttime routine.

Need lots of self care with how I’ve been feeling. Things feel rough right now.
