Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I watched Beyond Paradise. Didn’t stay up late enough to watch Return to Paradise. Took doubke dose of med and slept really well for 6 hours. Up early as per usual.

Doesn’t sound like it’s raining atm so hopefully I can get out in the garden again.

Have a nice Sunday.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP haven’t watched that. I hope you are able to get into the garden before it rains again.

The rain chance increases for us as it gets later into the morning. Today I’m doing my home workout.

Re: Feeling caged up

Yes looks like it might rain. @creative_writer I walked up shop. Now converting bolognese into shepherd’s pie. It’s warm here already. Might put my shorts on to go out into garden.

I hurt my foot. I trod on a palm leaf and a thorn went in my ankle - has hurt for a week now.

Planting succulents today. Will also put soil wetter on dry patches and do some more weeding.

Had 6 hours deep sleep last night. Will probably snooze in the afternoon.

Enjoy your workout. I’ve already done my physio exercises.

@GezzaP Shepard pie sounds nice. It’s on the cooler side here, it’s raining quite a bit right now.

I hope your foot heals up swiftly. It’s hard being in physical pain.

I hope the physio exercises have eased your back pain a bit.

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer Since having 2 rounds of Chinese acupuncture and massage my back has been good. Only aches a bit when I walk. My foot hurts when I’ve got shoes on. Looking forward to taking shoes off when finished weeding.

The shepherd’s pie was very nice. Off to pour boiling water on more weeds.

@GezzaP glad to hear the back pain is better.

Do you have much planned for the rest of the day?

Re: Feeling caged up

I’ve been weeding most of the afternoon @creative_writer . First thing I didcwhennI came in was to take my shoes off. Got hot and exhausted rehydrating. Looking forward to dinner.

Hope your day was ok. How did your workout go?

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP are you having Chinese for dinner?

The workout went well, it was conditioning day, so short higher bursts. Day went okay considering the circumstances. I have a lot of chronic anxiety. Got lots of thoughts on repeat

No shepherd’s pie. Don’t feel

like going out to get Chinese. Will have it next week. @creative_writer Already put pie on to heat up. Will have strawberries with chocolate sauce for desert again.

Glad your workout went well. Sorry you are suffering from high anxiety today. I get that sometimes.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP Shepard pie still sounds nice. Strawberries are still very nutritious.

Chronic anxiety is just part of my life right now. Trauma changes the brain. I wish I could stop thinking but I can’t. I hate burdening people so I keep quiet a lot of the time
