Something’s not right

Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

Glad to hear you’re not too bad. @creative_writer

I walked up the shop. Checked my emails then went into the garden. Planted 3 native plants and did some pruning. Having a break now to get off my feet for a little while. It’s not raining yet. It rained overnight.

So checking my email. If I can muster the energy I’ll pour boiling water on some weeds. Will put my indoor plants out to catch some rain.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP the rain hasn't started here in my area, I think it is happening more so later today. It sounds like it has been a productive day outside for you. Weeds can be frustrating, no matter what you do, they seem to pop up.

I did some cooking today, also have the beef mince and chicken on the stove, it's meal prep for the coming week. Once they're done, I'll freeze them and portion them.

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I was happy to garden this morning. But now the rain is steady and we have some thunder.

i had leftover bolignese for lunch. Will have for dinner too. Was thinking of having Chinese take away but not going out in the rain. It is very dark here too. Maybe I’ll have Chinese tomorrow night. Still have some bolognese left might make it into shepherd’s pie.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I believe our rain is about to stop, it was raining heavier just a while back. Will try to take a walk once it is over.

I hope you enjoy your dinner even if it is leftovers. Chinese for tomorrow night sounds delicious.

Re: Feeling caged up

It has stopped raining here atm @creative_writer . I dozed off for an hour. Having a drink before deciding what to do about dinner:

Finished cooking?

Puss is in my lap.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP it was sprinkling a little when I took a walk, but it started raining more when I came back.

Cooking is finished and I’ve frozen the mince and chicken.

I hope puss is doing okay today

@creative_writer Puss didn’t eat yet today.

i had a cheese toastie and strawberries with chocolate sauce for dinner. Not very healthy but tasty.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I hope Puss is able to get some food into her system.

Nothing wrong with giving yourself a treat every now and then.

It's dry here now, but the rain return tomorrow. Not sure if it's going to rain later tonight.

@GezzaP what are you going to watch on TV? I believe the rain will be heavier tomorrow, I think a lot of the rain will be happening later in the day
