Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

I slept for 7 1/2 hours @creative_writer bloody fantastic. Back and neck really good today too.

Waiting for an annoying person who I’m supposed to pick up some plants from today to get back to me with her address. I said I would come at 2pm. It is now 1.15pm and she hasn’t got in touch yet. I have another appt at 3.30 and am trying to avoid the school pick up traffic. I’m getting annoyed with her. I have offered to pick plants up tomorrow or Thursday morning as well. I hate late people.
The painter who was supposed to come this morning to do a quote didn’t show up. He is now coming at 5pm a terrible time for me. I’m not impressed about that either.

I hope your day is going ok.

@GezzaP it can be frustrating when people are late, especially since you’re not a afternoon person.

I have a sore throat right now, it’s been sore on and off for over a week now, I guess my immune system has taken a hit. Feeling low today, but it’s my normal. Can’t make the thoughts stop, stuck on an endless loop. Not sure if much can be done to be honest, I don’t really understand how I feel right now. I guess all I can do is persevere.

Good afternoon @creative_writer@GezzaP,

How are things feeling today? 💖

Re: Feeling caged up

@AuntGlow maybe the reason why I don't know how I feel is because I am now disassociating. I don't know where creative_writer went. It is a hollow empty feeling that only really comes to me when I am disassociating.

How are you?

Re: Feeling caged up

I’m pretty good @AuntGlow . I slept for 7 1/2 hours the longest in about 5 weeks. Picked up some succulent cuttings in the early afternoon I have a headache this afternoon and am unimpressed that a painter who was supposed to come at 9am is now coming at 5pm. I hate that time as I’m always tired and hungry. He has done himself no favours in his chances to get the job.

But I’m so pleased I slept properly. Still hypomanic but a few more good nights of sleep and I’ll be fine hopefully.

Re: Feeling caged up

Hang in there @creative_writer you’ll be ok.

Not impressed painter now coming at 5pm terrible time as I’ll be tired and hungry. He hasn’t exactly inclined me to give him the job. Rang another painter who was recommended by my Argentine friend. Did a load of washing.

Picked up some succulent cuttings. Got two boxes one for my friend who I’m seeing on Thursday. She is going to pick out some novels and short stories in Spanish for me.

Speak to psychologist tomorrow morning then the day is free. I will change batteries in fire alarms and if it’s not raining I will plant succulents.
No point weeding because it is going to rain for almost a week and my method of pouring boiling water on them only works if there’s a few days of sunshine. Hoping I can go for a walk too. Also hoping to sleep well again.

Got a headache today. Annoying but I’ll survive.

@GezzaP yeah I don't know if I will be okay, but I don't know what else to do but ride it.

It still sounds like a productive day despite the disruptions. Appointments are tricky, I feel like if I have a commitment later in the day I am spending the morning mentally preparing for it.

Headaches are awful, I hope you are able to get some rest, mania really does burn people out.

Just hang in there @creative_writer I’m sure you’ll get there eventually.

Yes I’ve had a reasonable day got a few things done. Went to shops after I gave up on the painter coming.

Walked around the garden. More seeds have germinated. Watered pots under eaves. Brought indoor pots inside after they got some rain on them. Picked up plants.

Need to eat something now before painter comes. Need to pee too as ever lol. And should feed cat.

@GezzaP I hope the painter coming over doesn’t tire you out too much and you’re able to rest and eat afterwards.

Was the weather nice in Adelaide?

Re: Feeling caged up

It was wet today and is going to be wet for a week. @creative_writer

Painter came a little bit early. I was cutting up an onion for my bolognese. He gave me a much cheaper quote than the previous one. Just waiting to hear from one more painter.

Hungry and tired. Dinner should be ready in 5 minutes.

After dinner I’ll do my physio exercises. Then I will relax for a while and watch TV. Not much on TV will probably go to bed early again.

What did you have for dinner?
