Are you able to explain better what a Peer Guide is for @ArraDreaming

Heard of the term but not like that @Oaktree @what does accountable to sane mean

The Peer Guides are volunteers on the forums. These members' training has been funded by a particular government body.

For @Oaktree , they are under the Department of Veteran affairs. Hence much of their work is in that Shoulder to Shoulder Space and their training is tailored to support Veterans and Veteran families.

In the past, we also had a grant from the government to run our first 2 Peer Guide programs, but that has now concluded.

We may have a Yarning Space one in the future. We can let you know if it happens!
