It’s quite common actually @TAB . Lots of companies do it. I know cause it was the same for the other company that installed two other shutters and for the wooden floors. The painter asked for a deposit but is happy to wait until finished to be paid the balance.

@tyme I am okay. Feeling tired with trying to deal with a "friend" who doesn't know how to say thanks or apologise.
How can a person who has no friends and blames everyone else for being mean not realise that they may be part of the problem?!

I see that A LOT. Everyone else is the problem, except them...
I just wonder if they know what a common denominator is... but then again, I have to be careful, but I've been in that place where it was everyone's problem but my own.
We all live and learn. Some just take longer than others.
As for this friend, what do you see is keeping you as their friend?
