@ENKELI there is a light in the hallway adjacent to the toilet so I can manage with that thanks. I suspect getting up in the night is part of aging and also because I drink water to take my tablets before going to bed. I have bipolar, low salt and high blood pressure tablets to take. A bit worried I’m in a down today. Can’t face the shower yet it’s so cold here this morning. Also trying to cut back on the smokes before another attempt to stop. Excuse long post. Hope you are ok. It was 10 degrees at 7am here @TAB . Still

cold at 8.30. Still can’t drag myself into the shower. Don’t know if can make it that far today.

Sorry to hear that @GezzaP are you going to be ok? Thought I'd check in to see how youre feeling today ❤️ I think youve been not feeling the best the past week and now your in a depressive phase. I've suffered with depression and its not a nice space to be in. I'll be online today if you need someone to talk to however I do know you mentioned if youre not well you go into retreat. Use the forums as you need honey. I want to see you happy and well. I want the old GezzaP back please!

Plumber has been parts and labour over $700 Thats nearly all my DSP this fortnight. I had savings though but still...

Thanks @SmilingGecko . I’m hoping I’ll be ok. I get down sometimes and really struggle to do anything. I only get SI when I’m really bad but I never get to the point of wanting to act on it so I’m safe. It is such a cold day I couldn’t persuade myself to get in the shower, but it is sunny so maybe I can get in shower later, or will try to tomorrow. Maybe I’ll indulge in my spa bath. The light helps. Still battling against the smokes. Resisting now after a bad start to the day. Yes I do tend to isolate. It is part of the disease. I assume you are doing your morning routines. Good on you. I’m so sorry your plumbing repairs cost so much. Tradies are so expensive these days. Well thanks for your concern. Apologies for long post.

@GezzaP while you are out for a walk, can you bring the wheelbarrow up from the Bottom paddock for me please?

Thats ok @GezzaP I realise many of these remedies take herculean effort but good on you for trying. Warmth and understanding never goes astray with mood shifts. People can be very prescriptive and youre kind of left with a cold and stark reality in the end. I used to really struggle with depression and it wasnt given the same accord as other illnesses by people. Its not very nice. I hope my words mean something. I know you are stuck with the emergence of an all too familiar episode and you know what that means through rotten experience. Maybe things will shift quickly before they get worse idk. Please take extra good care of yourself and know you are supported by this community. You dont deserve to be stuck in a place of deep anguish and despair, nobody does. I sense this was coming for some time being let down and feeling unsupported. Its shifted something in your mind. I'm sorry this is happening. I hope you will be ok today. I know you are in pain over your helper's no-shows and your sister stonewalling you just reminding you of how alone you feel in your struggle. Its not very nice
