@SmilingGecko what annoys me most is that even with diabetes medication and vitamin D l am still fatigued. More so than before I was diagnosed. I don't have to measure insulin, just take the meds.
I've lost weight and had fatty liver for over 10 years so I don't see how that could be causing additional fatigue now all of a sudden.
The last time I felt this tired was 10 years ago when I contracted an unknown virus that caused joint pain and extreme fatigue. May be a re-occurrance I guess.
I am hoping to see a GP at a clinic nearby. Been there before and the first GP wasn't registered to prescribe optiods or anti anxiety medication, the second one was a nasty woman who was rude from the moment I stepped into her office. Hopefully the other female GP won't be as nasty.

@Glisten my sleep is broken these days because I have to get up for a toiley break at least twice during the night - a consequence of the diabetes medication. I crave sugar, desperately. I swear I didn't crave ciggies this bad. I try really hard to avoid too much sugar, having porridge with almond milk and honey, trying to avoid late night snacks like lollies or sweet things.
I am going to see if the GP I saw a couple of months back is able to prescribe opioids now, as he wasn't when I saw him back in February. The diverticulitis will be cured with antibiotics and strong pain relief but it's pointless seeing him if I can't get the medication I require. I have chronic pain that often needs the stronger medication as OTC ones don't touch the sides. Who would have thought all those years ago in 1997 that I would suffer long term problems from a neck injury on the way to work one morning.
@SmilingGecko has offered some suggestions re the diabetes (for which I am thankful), I think I need to have my bloods done again as it's been almost a year when I had them last done. It's my old vets' fault. The swine should never have been allowed to retire.
The RTO I am studying through called me today to see how I was going. They told me not to over stress with my being behind and to just do what I can. I thought that was really good of them and will be giving a positive review on their customer service once I have completed the course. Now I'm actually learning stuff my brain fog is struggling to take it in.
I hate being this old. I want to be 30 again. Or 35 even.

@ENKELI maybe we’re just tired cause we do a LOT?
Retiisi, I need a massage like my life depends on it. I’m even thinking about getting Tox put in my trapezius muscles. They are like granite.
Have you got a Drain Fly 🪰 aka Moth Fly outbreak down your end of the valley? We have. I hate them.

@Glisten you need a sauna, stat. And then a Sven to beat the knots out of your muscles. I miss my ex friend for her massages. She was really good at getting knots and tension out of my neck and shoulders. Maybe I should call her. "I still don't like you and I hate what you did to me, you can make it up by giving me a massage every Friday night." Lol.
You need to find a GP too, to get those Tox shots.
No Drain or Moth flies in my area, thank goodness. The croach plague is bad enough. I've had to put baits down in the shed as well as the house, tiny little crawly mongrels. I hate croaches. They make my skin crawl!
The only other pest we have is the 'Vegas song bird - aka police sirens zooming along the closest main road on a regular basis. Even the bin chickens have disappeared from the vacant lot near the aquatic centre.
Go get yourself sauna'd Tomaatti
