Hello and good morning to @GezzaP @PeppyPatti @ENKELI @Bunniekins@StuF @TAB @ENKELI
Yes it was a vitamin causing me insomnia. Looking at either using one drop or one drop every other day compared to a full dropperful or going with another form of that vitamin that is less stimulating. No other news.

@ENKELI did your doctor discuss a blood monitor? I don't know if you got one but my one is a "Contour Next" brand.
You put the paper testing strips in the device and use a lancet pen to puncture the skin to get a blood sample. My diabetes educator showed me how to use it.
Fasting blood glucose levels should be 4 - 5.5
and two hours post meal 6 - 8
I'm putting this information here for added support since you are not on a pension and dont get a treatment plan from your doctor. There isnt much to know really. But thats good you went to the pharmacist. They can provide you with lots of information. If in doubt go to your pharmicist and buy a machine from them and ask the chemist or chemist assistant on how to use it.
Heres how to use a Contour Next: (Australian video)

Here is an American Chemist discussing it:

And some easy to follow tips that shows how to do it:
