Having had to take a "break" without notice I wasn't able to respond regarding my GP.
I was extremely lucky with him as he was very thorough for most of my 20+ year journey with him. It was only the diabetes that he wasn't exactly clear and said that it was age not food related. We discussed food options, ie fruit - natures' junk food, veggies - very good, plus the struggle I have trying to lose weight due to medication.
He explained the diabetes medications and I got further information from my pharmacist who is excellent when it comes to explaining new medications.
While on a recent trip to hospital during the enforced "break" I found out more about how the medications interact and I have more knowledge about why I crave sugar so much and it's now a matter of retraining my brain to stop thinking that I need sugar.
Aside from re-engaging with my psychologist I am also going to look into a dietician if I can afford it.
Hope everyone is okay and had a nice weekend xo

@Glisten it really is tiresome. I started a bark diary at the beginning of the year to submit to the council. The ranger I spoke to was just lovely and really went out of her way in my opinion to help sort the issue out. While the owner assured the council they had things under control, the dogs still bark. For example, from 6.30pm this evening one of the dogs has been barking on and off and is still going (it's almost 8.30pm).
I'm so tired with everything going on with dad dying, dealing with my sister, dramas with other family members, feeling like I was bullied online and now the dogs barking.
I haven't slept properly since mid last week and I am just defeated. Walking on eggshells while others walk all over me has pretty much broken me.
