i reckon Steve Harley is an incredibly gifted person. With a crafty wit and best of all an unorthodox world view. Not that i see eye to eye all that often, but i love how he paints his lyrics into his songs so cleverly.

@DownMoreThanUp Gerry Rafferty was on rotation in my house, my mum was a fan. This song and any other of his takes me back to the house we lived in, the record player and how we'd turn it up so we could hear it throughout the house!

Yes it is cool when that happens. Here i'll share you a piece my Opa would love hearing, and a major variation to my taste in music otherwise. Amazing really because as children we were forced to sit and listen to my Opa play, and we were not allowed to talk or run around. However Opa was a good organ player tho, he played often in his Church too, and my Oma would sing.

i know when i put this on my Oma and Opa get happy again too. Still a good memory to be with the music going and memories relived. They have both been dead for years.
