New Music Thread (for all music, not just new)

New Music Thread (for all music, not just new)

Hi Peoples,

This thread has been done before...but unfortunately it has fallen foul of the forum bug/s.

So a few of us (like @Bunniekins @TAB ) thought it might be time for a reboot.

The idea is simple - post a clip of whatever music you would like to share with the forums community. Link the clip and tag the member/s you'd like to share it with...

Enough preamble. This clip is a bit different to what I will normally share - The Voice is not normally my thing - but I'm glad I stumbled across it today:

@PeppyPatti I don't know if I could discuss on here what my psych and me speak about. A bit overwhelming but I would give it a go but only follow you. I haven't been on here long enough to know what to do. I respond to tags. That's about it.

As far as I know you hit the start new discussion button up the top in the blue. Don't know where it goes to. I haven't been outside the social thread! Too scary!

Name - What about 'Our Journeys' or Therapy and Healing. Something like that. I don't know. Have you got any ideas on the name for the thread?

I enjoyed partying to the 80's music! @Bunniekins 😏 The videos really came alive then too, like Thriller 💛

I had AI look James Doty up @PeppyPatti . I'll have a bit of a look later. I haven't got any attention span to read, listen to or watch anything that's more than a few minutes, since the flood. That's nearly four years ago now. Time flies when you're having fun, or so they say. 😏

What were you sewing last night that you were talking about earlier? 💛

I’v own issues @heartathome

I’m a bit of a do lally lots of panic attacks.
What’s that 4 years ago ? A flood of?

when my life was the toughest several years ago I used to listen to James Doty on utube - I used to listen to his book “ the magic Shop “ over and over again but I was so stressed I couldn’t hear it. It worked for me — I think iv manifested my future —-but its environmental and fits into my life—

I think I manifested kindness to stay upbeat and learned self care which has brought a better relationship with my sons and financially it’s brought me something but watch this space —-

I’m a bit of a do lally - I've never heard that expression before! AI set me straight. I didn't realise it was British slang. 😉

I'm sorry you have to deal with panic attacks! I've only had a few bad ones so far and they're frightening!

Flood of water. Wiped everything out. Only me, my dog, vape and phone got out!

I like that you manifest kindness @PeppyPatti What does your selfcare look like?

I can't articulate what I've learnt over those early intensive years of therapy. My brain just doesn't want to cooperate anymore. I don't seem to be able to remember much since the flood. They tell me it's normal.

I learnt everything from my psych, from all feelings are okay to have, to I don't have to say everything I think! All my journals are on 'the cloud' somewhere. My son saved them for me. I wrote everyday which helped!

He took me from a 12-year-old girl (not literally) through to a functional adult. Well, I am most of the time anyway. My main therapy was about going back through SA and bringing me out the other side. Thank you to him!

I'm sorry if I've repeated myself. I actually can't remember! 😊💛

Iv forgotten to @heartathome

@were you in A flood ? That must have been catastrophic -

im def not British : I married one of them:

the 2 adult sons are awesome.
It took me a very long time to realise I shared my therapist with other people.
iv seen other people walking into her office throughout the years - even swapped small conversations

then

about 2 months ago I realised I’m not the only one. Oh I thought ……..
