@PeppyPatti Yep, that photo definitely wasn't me. We aren't allowed to post pictures of ourselves.
We had a conversation a couple of months ago where we were talking about movies and you told me they were your favourites, so I wrote them down to watch when my PTSD kicked in next. If I didn't write it down, I would have forgotten the names of the movies and then I would have forgotten who I was I was talking too about it. Lol
Eyes Wide Shut, I can't even remember what that movie was about, but I remember that I didn't enjoy it.
You are correct, my daughter lives with her dad.
Short version of the story, in 2018, I was assaulted by partner, lost job, lost car, lost rental property and then lost daughter. I have been living in a cabin at a caravan park for the past 6 years, and there is no room in here for her. She has been here to try and stay the night once and hated it. And unfortunately, because of the ridiculous rental prices now, I can't see a point when I will ever get back into a house. And my daughter knows that. (Which really sucks because I used to own a 4-bedroom home outright before I met her dad.) So, her goal is to finish school (if she really has too), get a job and move out. During this year we have already had the discussion about her wanting to leave school and get a job. I tried to convince her that by staying until year 12, it will give her more employment opportunities to get a decent paying job.
She also is very understanding of my illness. I just love her to bits.
But I feel so horrible that I could not provide her with a childhood that she deserved to have. But she knows some of what I have been through and holds no grudges against me. I have always tried to teach her the lessons that I have learnt over the last 6 years, so hopefully she will never have to go through any of what I did.
