@heartathome Yes my partner is coming to the hotel over New Year's Eve. When I told him last year that my daughter was in her backyard by herself watching the fireworks because her dad and his partner were already asleep, he said that this year we will show her a better time, and he has kept his word.
He adores my daughter. So, if we go to the beach or do anything else outside of the hotel, he will need to be the one she does it with, as my back is still chronic and i can't walk far at all. But I will get enjoyment from watching them have fun together. I can't wait to see her enjoying herself, as my daughter hasn't been having a good time with her dad and it has gotten to the point that she fully understands, what sort of a person he is, and she can't stand him. I knew she was smart enough to work it out, which is why I restrained from telling her. So, she basically sits in her room with the door shut playing on her computer all the time, just to get away from him. It breaks my heart, that at the moment, I can't get her out of there.
My mood is slowly starting to pick up and move pass being upset over the Christmas period. I sent one of my therapists a Merry Christmas message, and she replied today asking how mine was. My reply was just the word SHiT. I have an appointment in a couple of weeks, so she will hear all about it then.
I hope your evening is going well.
