Your partner sounds like a lovely man. What a wonderful thing he's doing for you and your daughter! Hang onto him! I can understand as a mum, how heartbreaking it would be to have to leave her with your ex. We can only do what we can do, even though it doesn't seem enough.
it has gotten to the point that she fully understands, what sort of a person he is. I knew she was smart enough to work it out. My son doesn't know his father. He walked out on him when he was eight because he got married and his new wife didn't want him to have anything to do with his past, including his son. He agreed! What a d**k!
My son emailed him when he got older and told him what he thought about him. There's been no contact since! 😏
she basically sits in her room with the door shut playing on her computer all the time I'm glad she's got her room to go to for privacy. I never had a room to myself. Most kids her age are doing the same thing. Is she a gamer? Her father sounds like a bit of a d**k himself.
My mood is slowly starting to pick up and move pass being upset over the Christmas period. That's great to hear Mustang! I had triggers over Christmas to process and am coming through the other side.
