Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi

I have been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, social anxiety, and depression.

I saw a trauma psychologist for 10 months twice a week, but she stopped seeing me when my safety became an issue while processing the trauma.

My symptoms are so bad now I isolate myself in the car everyday to avoid triggers and flashbacks. Unable to go to strange places, talk to people. Just don't belong anywhere. Anxiety so bad I shake most of the time, chest pain and hard to breathe... This isn't living......

I'm too damaged to be helped, I have tried but no one will help me..... They just tell me its too complex and they are unable to help. I don't know what do do I have no support isolated, alone and scared....

Who would like to help build tonight's bonfire?..the autumn evenings are a bit chilly down south...I have newspapers and kindling but I need a lighter or a match, and some more logs. Bring spare blankies and for this old duck, I am bringing a camp chair..I am wondering if tonight anyone might bring a guitar, a song or some drums? I get quite stiff if I sit too long..@hiddenite, would you like to light the bonfire? I am thinking around 9 when it is dark...hugs to everyone who would like one..

Count me in, i have always enjoyed, bonfires, i used to go camping, on a 46acre block that backed onto a forest, we would have a bonfire going most evenings, a roaring big one, and we would sit around it, and relax until the wee hours of the morning, sometimes i would fall asleep out there, and wake up to the fresh chill dawn, to be able to see a deer or two, carefully plodding through, it was such a good feeling.

I'm in too! Have got the fire burning now. It's going to be a cool one tonight.

I think singing songs of encouragement is a lovely idea. How about "Stand By Me", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", & "Lean On Me" ? And for the child within - "Morningtown Ride" and "Puff the Magic Dragon"?

Anyone else partial to hymns?

Ooh @sara, I would live a choc dipped stawberry, waving...and @hiddenite so glad you could come and join us by the fire, it is a lively feeling sometimes to sit in the dark and just watch and listen..soak up the friendship and love..we're settling in for a camp out under the stars.. @kristin I love a bit of a singalong..thinking stand by me is a great song! What's one we might all know? I am wondering if Help me if you can Im feeling down, but I do appreciate you being round. How me get my feet back on the ground...too obvious? I do love Beatles..
And about as biblical as I go is songs from Godspell and Boney M's Rivers of Babylon....
Wouldn't it be lovely to watch a concert under the stars..
@kato I would love to wake up to deer..
Are your toes getting warm by the fire, can you please pass me the fire poking stick, I am just going to move that log in...:)

@Alessandra1992 Those sound good to me!

BTW someone please bring mozzie repellant, they are still out in earnest at the moment. I happen to be one of those with the "yummiest human" gene, a mozzie gourmand's favourite. Anyone else find themselves a popular snack with the mozzie bombers brigade?

I think I know just the place for this bonfire - up the top of a mountain is 55 acres which own me. The stars are amazing! There are samba deer, lyrebirds, kookaburras and wombats. To mention a few. Oh it's got state forest on two sides also.

Come a half step closer to us Karen, or let us bring you a warm blanket.. Feel the weight of the blanket? It's made of silk..It's a super light blanket but feel how it drapes around you, silk is one of nature's strongest fibres..this blanky will be your shield, it will protect you from the chills..we are here for you...
