Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi

I have been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, social anxiety, and depression.

I saw a trauma psychologist for 10 months twice a week, but she stopped seeing me when my safety became an issue while processing the trauma.

My symptoms are so bad now I isolate myself in the car everyday to avoid triggers and flashbacks. Unable to go to strange places, talk to people. Just don't belong anywhere. Anxiety so bad I shake most of the time, chest pain and hard to breathe... This isn't living......

I'm too damaged to be helped, I have tried but no one will help me..... They just tell me its too complex and they are unable to help. I don't know what do do I have no support isolated, alone and scared....

Re: Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

I know that feeling Karen. It is truly horrible.

So here's some different logic: Your girls would most definitely not be better off without you - lets be blunt: suicide is often "contagious". If they were to lose you through suicide they are more likely to end up there themselves. So at the moment your "use" to them is first and foremost to survive - so they can, and there is so much more to it than that. But even that alone is enough of a reason. Hold on please.

@hiddenite

We are all really worried about you. We wish we could be there in person for you.

Could you do something for me? Try to close you eyes and think of a nice safe place, anywhere will do. This is the place inside your head that NO ONE can go. NO ONE can destroy. NO ONE can make you do anything here. Just go there and sit down. Now, with you eyes closed, think about some good things. Think about your kids. Think about all the people here on these forums that love you. When the fear and anxiety tries to get in, remember THIS IS YOUR PLACE, YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT HERE. Take all the anxiety, fear and any negarive thoughts, and roll them up into a ball. Now picture a wall with a window. Get the ball of fear and anxiety, and push it out the window. The window goes down to the ocean. When you push the ball out the window, watch it fall into the ocean and just get swept away. It's gone, out to sea. Now close the window. YOUR SAFE NOW.

Here is a quote from Ghandi - "You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty."

We love you @hiddenite . Please stay safe.

Hobbit.

@hiddenite
Here's five tonnes of firewood..it is totally dry so it will burn all night, come closer, let it warm the chill of this chilly autumn evening..we are bringing our blankets and rugs to sit by the campfire with you this long night..
We won't talk..we'll just sit and watch the flames and listen to the crackle..we might brew a billy of tea..maybe toast some marshmallows..and we will sit with you because you are not worthless and you are not alone..
The struggle is hard, but we are listening..what has worked for you last time? I think you were using breathing techniques? Perhaps keep calling the numbers you have during the hours Sane is offline..reaching out is scary, but that is what you are doing and we are building this bonfire to be a lighthouse for you.. Big hugs and blankets tonight ..brr it is chilly..or a warm hot water bottle..keep contact Karen...you are brave, and kind, and keep reaching out!!
