Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi

I have been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, social anxiety, and depression.

I saw a trauma psychologist for 10 months twice a week, but she stopped seeing me when my safety became an issue while processing the trauma.

My symptoms are so bad now I isolate myself in the car everyday to avoid triggers and flashbacks. Unable to go to strange places, talk to people. Just don't belong anywhere. Anxiety so bad I shake most of the time, chest pain and hard to breathe... This isn't living......

I'm too damaged to be helped, I have tried but no one will help me..... They just tell me its too complex and they are unable to help. I don't know what do do I have no support isolated, alone and scared....

Hey @hiddenite, sometimes our physical health has to take priority over our mental health..it sounds to me that you have a heart problem that needs medication for now...you stated that the nurses treated you kindly, so perhaps you can trust the Dr who is looking after your immediate physical need. It would s frustrating to not be able to work on your mental health at the same time, but, just for now, look after you and your heart..ring GP or Nurse On Call if you have questions about the heart meds..

Hi Kato
no I don't have any support from psychologist or psychiatrist. Tried six but they are not prepared to help someone with such complex trauma and symtoms.
so sick of this just had enough. Don't feel I serve any purpose.
I have no direction or will to fight.
I don't know where to go from here.

Hi Nik
thanks for the support but what happens when you become so unwell that you are unable to help yourself anymore

Re: Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi @hiddenite

I'm sorry to hear the medication is causing problems. I strongly suggest you call or go to Emergency to manage these side effects, they will be able to help you.

You don't have to sit through this alone.

Nik

Hey @hiddenite,
When you become so unwell that you are unable to help yourself... . call suicide line and talk through what is happening.
@NikNik can you please repost SuicideLine and Lifeline?

Re: Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi @hiddenite

I'm really concerned for you at the moment. I just emailed you, but I wanted to reiterate here that you are worth it. You deserve help.

It's really important that you look after yourself tonight, especially as it's almost 10pm AEDT and we won't be online soon. If you don't end up going to Emergency or calling 000, please, at the very least, use one of the following services;

Lifeline: 13 11 14 (online counselling)

Suicide call back service: 1300 659 467 (online counselling)

Suicide line: 1300 651251

Salvo Care Line: 1300 36 36 22

Will you please call one of those numbers or use their online counselling service?

Thinking of you

Nik
