Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi

I have been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, social anxiety, and depression.

I saw a trauma psychologist for 10 months twice a week, but she stopped seeing me when my safety became an issue while processing the trauma.

My symptoms are so bad now I isolate myself in the car everyday to avoid triggers and flashbacks. Unable to go to strange places, talk to people. Just don't belong anywhere. Anxiety so bad I shake most of the time, chest pain and hard to breathe... This isn't living......

I'm too damaged to be helped, I have tried but no one will help me..... They just tell me its too complex and they are unable to help. I don't know what do do I have no support isolated, alone and scared....

@hiddenite. Please tell the nurses you about the pain you are feeling, they might have heat pads you can use...

We are here for you Hiddenite.
life can be unfair but your beautiful children are safe and they love you.
It's just a time for you to get yourself together.

My Father took my oldest son for a while while I was going through a very bad time then my brother took over. My son and I spend a lot of time discussing those years.

@hiddenite

Karen,

Sandy is right - please try to tell the nurses about your pain. You should not be having to suffer through this.

I second what @kato said whole-heartedly. i think you are an amazingly caring and compassionate person with a lot of strength in overwhlelming circumstances. Please try to be kind to yourself - like you would with a good friend who is going through a difficult time through no fault of her own.

Hope for freedom from pain endures...

May you be cradled in angels wings this night so you can get some much needed sleep.

Kindest regards,

Kristin

Hi guys
funny thing happened today. Having a hot shower trying to relive the aches and pains which set off the smoke detectors the fire alarm sounding in the whole hospital. Me naked and completely freaking out I can hear the sirens of four fire trucks. Managed minimal clothing while they checked the place out.
maybe a little funny if hadn't been freaking out.
Yea not funny at all. Just hope I don't get in trouble. Really worried about that.

Hope you all had a good day
karen

Re: Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hey @hiddenite

Karen that sounds rather hilarious. Does the hospital seriously have such crappy fire alarms that they can't tell the difference between steam and smoke? That must have been some hot shower. The sirens and everything must have been pretty triggering though? Try not to fret about the consequences, it's not as if you did it on purpose. Hopefully good sense will prevail.

I had a fairly quiet day except for going to church this morning. Was going to go into the city to look at a new second hand car but the yard was closed, so maybe on Wednesday. My poor old bomb is truly on its last legs. It blows so much smoke it's embarrassing. Uses almost as much oil as petrol.

So my little girl and I paddled in the river behind the house this afternoon. It was lovely - cool and peaceful. Thinking of you.

Hope for relief from pain endures...

Kindest regards,

Kristin

How are you tonight Karen?

I'm hoping that they are actually working on finding you some helpful help rather than parking you on a bed with no support.

Take care of you my friend.

Hope for a return to calm of the river endures...

Kind regards,

Kristin

Re: Despair *potential trigger: abuse*

Hi

How are you?
you don't need to see your support to know it's there.......

I think it's strong that you are in hospital and taking responsibility for yourself. Taking medication.

a lot of us have been here for more than 2 months and can really see the difference in our life from being here.

Here, you can say whatever.....it's cool. !
Like very much hearing from you.....
It's important for myself because of my own journey and also my son's journey who refuses to take medication.

Become so unwell I'm now in the acute ward normal hospital. They think I've had a heart attack.
What next....
