Spud Buds!

@Former-Member I think I want to go to Peru and try every potato variety now.

I wonder if there is a job as a Tater Tester?

.

@0ddsidian haha if I can’t find a way to turn my mushroom interest into a career maybe you might run into me there too 😂

though I’m super keen on @ENKELI’s tater tester idea too 🤔

has anyone ever had those spiralled potato on a stick things?? I haven’t had one in ages and just remembered how much I miss getting them. they used to be everywhere at all my local hot food places but now they don’t seem to be as popular near me!

I’ve been sick recently with some awful bug over the weekend messing with my appetite and like always, potatoes in multiple forms is currently the only and best thing I can handle eating right now. at the moment I’m having what feels like the best mashed potato I’ve ever had. potatoes really are our friends 😁

@lonemushroom sorry to hear you've been sick, and I'm glad Dr Spud was able to assist in your recovery 😁.

As I gazed upon your name I thought, what would be better than potatoes? Mushroom gravy covered mashed potatoes 🥔 🍄

If it wasn't bucketing down with rain and I had some $$ I'd be inclined to go to Coles and buy some spuds and mushies to confirm my theory.

I hope you're feeling better today 💓

.

@Former-Member lol I didn't think of that! One good thing about living in WA - no "accidental" mushroom mishaps!

Mash and gravy is always a good combination though, you're spot on about that.

@ENKELI I saw a big tin of 'Chicken Powder' in the Asian section of Coles yesterday - immediately thought of you and was even tempted to test it!! But it was MASSIVE and what if it was a disappointment? 😅

@lonemushroom omg POTATO PATHOLOGIST? Or, a POTPAT for short? 🤣

@Former-Member top notch spud memes good sir!! Same to you @MissGremlin hehe

@0ddsidian Curly fries is the correct answer. I will also accept Waffle Fries. All other fry shapes are inferior. Although those 'cyclone/spiral' taters on a stick that @lonemushroom mentioned are probably better than all of em - cept they're not a 'fry' soooo I guess they don't count hehe.

Mmmm potatoes n gravy 🤤 Y'all got me HUNGRY now 🤣

@Jynx oh what a dilemma! I will check my Coles and see if they have any.

I had mash with butter with dinner tonight. I often add sour cream if I have any. Spuds are da bom!

Sitting here listening to various Australian artists on Youtube via Foxtel. While I love hearing Judith Durham sing I am also more than just a little melancholy wishing I had some friends to talk to 😓

Aww hugs @ENKELI

(づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡

It sucks to not have folks around to chat to hey. I hope you know how much we appreciate you around here hun, and even if they aren't quite as warm, I always got oodles of virtual hugs for you whenever you want em! 💜

@Jynx you are a beautiful human being 😍
